Full blown invasion by the Romans came under the in 43 AD and occupied all of England and Wales and some portions of southern Scotland. Britain remained part of the Roman Empire from AD 43 to 410. They ruled Britain until 410 AD till the Roman lesions pressed upon the governors to go back. It is during the phase of Roman enterprise, several maisons and buildings were made some of which includes the famous Roma Baths, fortifications such as the Cardiff Castle.
After the fall of the Roman Empire, the Angles, Saxons and Jutes came to Britain where they eventually assimilated or is considered that the native Celtic tribes of England were driven into Southern England, Wales and southwestern Scotland.
